About Dr. Fanila
Dr. Fanila Adhi graduated with an MBBS from Dow University of Health Sciences in 2005. Since then she has worked for more than 15 years in Karachi hospitals, including Aga Khan University Hospital, Zubaida Medical Centre, Bantva Hospital and Kharadar General Hospital. She is a Registered Medical Practitioner with the PMDC. She works as a family physician, which means she looks after the whole family: children with fever, adults with infections or stomach problems, women with health concerns they want to discuss with a female doctor, and elderly parents managing sugar and blood pressure.
She opened Hiba Care Clinic in Fatima Jinnah Colony so that families in the Jamshed Road area have a doctor nearby who listens, examines properly, and explains treatment clearly in Urdu or English.
